If you’re struggling and thinking it’s time to get some help please read on.

You want to be able to do “normal” things without struggling through it, without feeling like you don’t fit in. You want to have a great life, close friendships, a secure foundation with a loved one.

I can help you find new ways to cope, to handle life’s challenges, to connect with others and have happy, secure friendships and relationships.  I can help you work towards what you want in life. Some issues respond well to direct and simple interventions (i.e. stress, life transitions). Other issues, such as recurrent dysfunctional patterns, insecure connections and interpersonal relationships, require more time and a deeper intervention.

It may not be easy, and it may not happen overnight, but I assure you that the ability to change and grow is within yourself!

In our work together I will treat you with compassion, dignity, respect and without judgement. I use scientifically driven therapies proven to alleviate symptoms including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT/EFIT), Mindfulness, and Strength Based therapies.  However I will adapt my interventions based on a comprehensive assessment of who you are and what you need.

Everyone has within them courage, strength, and resiliency. No matter what your therapy goal I believe in your ability to overcome challenges and move forward to live the life you desire. The first step is to reach out, which can feel uncomfortable, but it is a healthy way to grow. It’s a big step but contacting a therapist is an accomplishment and sign of progress and growth in itself. I am ready to help you take the next steps from there.

Treatment Approach

field pathI use a variety of approaches to address my clients unique needs.  Successful treatment plans will utilize a foundation of cognitive/cognitive-behavioral, emotionally focused therapy, psychodynamic therapy then quickly move toward a tailored treatment plan and approach that includes tools to help sustain the growth experienced in regular therapy.

Additionally, there is a growing body of research that supports the practice of self-compassion and mindfulness in psychotherapy. Neuroscience research reveals individuals that practice these techniques are happier, more resilient, and better equipped to heal painful memories from the past. It is my honor and mission to help my clients move past what’s blocking them from reaching their full potential individually and in their relationships.
